The Office of the Chief of Staff directly supports the Global Head of DEI to drive execution of DEI strategies and serves as central governance for the DEI organization. Additionally, the Office of the Chief of Staff oversees large, cross-functional projects and initiatives that support the firm's commitments towards providing greater equity and impact.

The DEI Analyst role will work closely with the Office of the Chief of Staff team's Program Manager to organize and prepare reporting and presentations, such as the quarterly Global DEI Business Reviews, Regulatory updates, DEI All Hands, and bi-monthly updates to the JPMC Operating Committee . The role will also assist in maintaining the Office of the Chief of Staff's delivery backlog and provide program and project management assistance to various efforts and initiatives across our global DEI delivery agenda. The ideal candidate must have experience in project management and / or business analysis discipline, be highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel, have a strong passion for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda, and a personal commitment to drive a culture of respect and inclusion.

This role reports to the Vice President, Program Manager in the Office of the Chief of Staff for the Global Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at JPMorgan Chase.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Manager with providing program and project management support required to drive the execution of the Global DEI strategy. Core responsibilities include maintaining project schedules, status reporting, presentation and meeting management and administration as well as ad-hoc responsibilities for program and project management support of various initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to administer and govern the firm's DEI strategy
  • Assist with organizing Global DEI events and meetings, including maintaining a project schedule, identifying key objectives and resources, collecting and consolidating material, and additional administrative activities
  • Analyze, and recommend resolution of project-related issues, and follow-through with set objectives
  • Influence and help drive key aspects of the DEI function

Qualifications
  • Program / Project Management: Prior program or project management experience
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship management and collaboration skills to be leveraged across a firmwide, global network. Strong capability to build new partnerships
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written); strong ability to articulate concepts and translate content into executive-level presentations that can be delivered to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, as well as strong note-taking skills to leverage for meeting minutes and status reporting
  • Business mindset: Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to inform and influence decisions and solutions across multiple concurrent priorities, in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork: Outstanding partnership and collaboration skills that center around promoting a shared purpose, instilling trust and fostering teamwork across functions, businesses, and regions at all level in the organization
  • Risk and Controls: Ability to handle confidential information; effectively escalating risks and potential issues with urgency, care, and sensitivity
